My first ever experience at the valueplace on dunlap in phoenix az. was a not pleasing experience.

Upon reserving my room when entering the building the front desk young african american young man was rude and had large line of customers which he had us all waiting for over 25 minutes. His attitude was not friendly and never smiled or made us feel welcomed. This went on for our 3 day visit. Our first night was $59.88 upon second night was also $59.88 but he didnt want to help us keep that price because we were unable to use credit card because was lost.

After a hour of trying to explain the situation he went ahead and did it unhappily. Third night was on a Monday October 10th,2016 he charged us a total of $80..which we found unusual being all rates were $66 for studio. He refused to help us keep the rate we were paying and asked us to leave if didnt pay $80. I wanted to leave being our air conditioner didnt work.

A eye on the stove never worked,both sinks couldnt drain properly,and bathroom sink faucet and toilet were very loose and water went everywhere from loose faucet. Told management but nothing was ever done and and no one ever came but front desk lady said she would make notes of it. Never offered a new room just very disappointing. I believe in future i would rather stay in a motel 6 and pay less with friendly cistomer service and warm welcome.

Being charged on that monday of $80 felt like a robbery and had it not been for my husband Torin Roberts not wanting to pack all our things up and tired from work i would had left.

Bad stay and just not what i would want to ever go through again. Sorry bad complaint but this company can really use better customer service.

Not at all surprised. The EMPLOYEEs are over worked and under paid. If they try to complain they are fired
